So glad the tooth part of all this is over for you Melly. I know how truly awful the gums/teeth/ears/jaw/down to elbow pain can be. I would sooner give birth to all 5 children again than have another night of that!
Hoping the Dr can give you something that begins to work on your '4 boxes' - sounds horrible. Poor you. Take care and let us know how you got on XX Ailsa

Glad to hear you are half way there with the tooth Melly but hope doc can give some explanation for the swelling of your cheek. Good luck.

 Hi folks Well im back ended up seeing doctor id seen before so knowing that relieved me she through. right well a through examintion and conculison i have sinus infection right side worse hence swollen cheeks worse on right,so due to lupus,ra given me strong antibiotics for 7 days instead of 5 days. going have blood test for ra/lupus plus liver,kidney to et full picture plus full blood count to see what lymphcoyets doing and wbc plus neutrpohils. got the better sun cream also. then showed rashes back 1 is just prickly heat tummy one is a allergic reaction to plaster as healing best left unless goes yellow spost then back asap. then saw nurse travel clinic for hols in october gt have 3 jabs done in 1 booster end august. got my precriptions and im home restin up mouth jaw all swollen hurtsy from extensive dental surgey yesterday told give it 3 4 days heal up. so docs words im run down all stemming from tumm bug then abscess. doing a lupus test se how active that is . silly ra knees red and hot lol but if dont go down il see rheumy nurse once infection gone. over out melly cuddly cats make my world seem so much more fun

Hi Melly, I could cry for you being in so much pain for so long, I had an abscess when I was 7 and I paced the floor through the night and I cried with the pain. Mum gave me medicine but there is only so much you can do, I'm 51 now and still remember well. I had it dealt with the following day, and I am horrified you have had to wait so long. The inflammation cant have done your RA and other symptoms any good. Any pain in your head feels much worse than anywhere else, I am so glad you are finally getting to the bottom of it. You deserve some peace and happy news now I hope and pray you get some extra good news soon.  Sending hugs and good wishes Lorna xx

 aww thank u lorna did my fasting up early got bloods done being checked for diabetes ,along with kidney liver profiels,esr,crp etc not bad 3 bottles compared to new rheumys 12 bottles. started anti biotics gee they are so strong hope do trick casue im wiped out,bed eat bed. swelling face easying off slightly today pains similar give it few dasy see how goes. melly cuddly cats make my world seem so much more fun

I hope you get some relief Melly, it's just one thing after another. I hope treating the infection helps to calm the RA a bit too. Thinking of you,

thanks both u yes julie its seeming that way,joys of 2 auto immune bits and all the family woes of late obviously had more effect on my health than first thought. hope does trick very good gp spent ages going back over my list of infections,the cheek is celluitis along with infection. yes rest is best,feel completley zapped all my enrgy gone off somewhere good news ive been offered chance to be a moderator for new lupus site which ive accepted part time volunteer. they know im unwell at minute so start when better. this is thrilling news for me a chance give back dont know if u knew this but for lupus there has been no new authorised rugs in 50 years....terrible hoping some extra help coming soon so i can get a cleaner in to do housework,cartn do it id been trying do it all and then even though small amounts at time not agreeing ra. back to dentist wedseday then 1 more visit to fit crown then thats it all done for 6 months be glad see back of those visits. melly cuddly cats make my world seem so much more fun

It must be such a relief that your tooth has healed up, but you've got so many other problems to deal with. I do hope your GP can help you.
I find the hot weather makes my feet swell, I've been putting them in my foot spa, it makes them more comfortable in bed then.

 aww thanks hubby put th new kitchen blinds up. ra oh yes the heat making me swell alot,gp not much us re ra always tells me call rheumy nurse lol so i didnt even say about joints swelling up was more keen to heal infection first. which is true casue it affecting everything else,explains why all be so run down. just need good dollop energy juice back seem lost it teeth dont half seem hurt still must be filling and al drilling he did seems like ages just drilling pushed my jaw down so hard grr,used clamp thing for it to. not had that before. thinks it due to ra affecting jaw goes into spasm after while and have to close it so he kept it open normally lets me close when i need to. ohh i hate immune problems just wana be that healthy 16 year old once was. ohh the extra help letter arrive not at all what id hope for but a little bit extra help better none. mellly cuddly cats make my world seem so much more fun

Updated off to dentist round 4 tomorrow impressions for crown and beg if have to something for ulcers got another 2 of emm lupus causing it plus dental trauma last week. using salt water feet,hands,knees all swollen up no depo allowed due to severe sinus infection till healed up fully. cats sick had go vet hubby took her she got ulcer in her eye poor thing. so thats me. oh started my part time voluntary job saturday as online chat room,forum moderator for lupus site,really enjoying that. melly cuddly cats make my world seem so much more fun

Hi been dentist hes done xray appears infection def gone in tooth but he wants be extra sure so got go back in 2 weeks to check see if ready make crown for tooth. ive got very painful mouth lot ulcers silly lupus,so ive been give Ora base thick yellow paste. finish antibiotics tomorrow taking celaflexin 500 mg 3 times a day for 7 days. really knocked stuffing out me going out so been restin tonight. yes its good little role on amercian lupus site,only for lupus patients or undergoing tests. good exp for me lot to learn. being out and comments oh enjoying sun-im like no suns my enemy and shop lights wore hat sunglasses sun cream still lupus playing up probarlby due to infecion. so want crown done dusted before my birthday grr fed up me tonight. lucky got laptop casue pc gone all funny cartn get it to come on!! waiting on those blood results sure if this long nothing serious but dont like witing especially as did fasting test for diabetes,kidney,liver etc. il be fine dont be worrying about me not good for ra.... melly cuddly cats make my world seem so much more fun
